Percentage of the proceeds will go to Teylar for hospital bills and others things that she will need along the way!
Here’s the story of Teylar:
Teylar Spoden turned 19 in October, the beginning of Nov went to the ER with abdominal pain, thinking maybe appendicitis, they quickly started running scans, tests, and labs they came back with there was something abnormal in her liver. The team meet reviewing the scans and said they thought it was blood vessels (as big as a softball) sitting on her liver and referred her to a liver specialist at Vanderbilt. Lots of labs, tests, and scans and was told on 12/1 the biopsy showed it was a rare form of cancer called Embryonal Sarcoma in her liver and was usually found in younger children. The discussed options and felt chemo was the best treatment. They put a pick line in to get started and we went in 12/9 for the 1st round of chemo, after labs were drawn the Oncologist came In and said they couldn’t do chemo today and they were rapidly admitting her. Her Bilirubin level was extremely high and it wasn’t safe for chemo. We are currently meeting with liver transplant teams and they are weighing the options of what is the safest and most effective treatment plan. Please keep this sweet young girl in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to fight! #TEYLARSTRONG
